Fresh Music from Latvia

Direct from Latvia, the band Ilgi will perform in Beijing as part of their 2001 world tour. The members of Ilgi are Llga Reizniece, Maris Muktupavels, Gatis Gaujenieks, Mikus Cavarts, Arnolds Karklis and Juris Kroics.

Cartoon Labyrinth

A rather unusual kind of exhibition is being held in Huanyu Hall at Xin Dong’an Market till August 30, sponsored by the Universiade Organizing Committee and Beijing Children’s Palace. It is an exhibition of sports cartoons, arranged in a maze.
