The Athletes’ Village Medical Center has been getting busier by the day as foreign participants in the 21st Universiade find the change of environment and climate hard to cope with.

‘Sugar Ears’ Go Down a Treat

There are three restaurants in the Athletes’ Village: a Muslim Chinese Restaurant, A Muslim Western Restaurant, and a general restaurant. At dinnertime, many athletes from Asia, Europe, America and Africa come to the Chinese Restaurant, and easily choose their favorite Chinese food.

Xiushui Street Hot in the Village

“Excuse me, could you write Xiushui Street in Chinese for me?” An athlete asked the reporter for help. “You want to go to Xiushui Street?” Steve, an athletics coach from South Africa asked.
