FISU Assembly Rejects Key Changes

The General Assembly of the International Federation of University Sports (FISU) narrowly failed to pass two controversial amendments to the federation’s statutes yesterday.The proposed modifications, put forward by FISU President George E. Killian, would have created a steering committee to conduct business between meetings of the Executive Committee, and ejected the Secretary General from his current position on the Executive Committee.
