Math Olympics coming to Beijing
The International Mathematician Conference will be held in Beijing from August 20 to 28 next year, announced Ma Zhiming, director of the China Mathematics Association. Police in Haidian District are equipped with a sound-image collection system; a military standard microwave transmission system for field operations. Reconnaissance vests, armed with a special camera enable patrolling police to deliver sound and image data back to headquarters. This information setup can deliver the message as far as 50 km.
