Havana Chinatown Shirt Arouses Great Interest

Many people are surprised to learn that there is a Chinatown in Cuba, but the Chinese have been part of Cuban history since at least 1847. Pedro Carmona, physiotherapist of the Cuban Team for the 21st Universiade wore a shirt from Havana’s Chinatown which caught the eye of many. On the white shirt, there were the blue words “Martial Arts”, circling around the Chinese Taoist symbol, yinyang.
