Biomedical Industry Shows Potential
“Biomedical engineering has been taken as the summit of high-tech research in the 21st century by many countries. The World Health Organization announced in its report on May 1 that gene research will be of help in improving health levels in developing countries,” said Hou Yunde, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, in his address at the forum of Chinese and Overseas Academicians.
