This movie could hardly please Oscar Wilde, author of the original novel, but audiences unfamiliar with the book may enjoy Dorian Gray –especially for its art and costumes. The movie is a crowd pleaser. Ben Barnes is on screen almost every second from opening to closing credits and is frighteningly brilliant as the titular character.
