Electric cabs off and running in Yanqing suburb
The first batch of 50 electric taxis were put into use in Yanqing County, a suburb of Beijing, on Tuesday. All the new green-and-white cabs are powered by electricity instead of gas and designed with bigger interiors than average cabs, which can accommodate five passengers.
