American flag football group seeks players

Salon teaches calligraphy to younger generationa, expats

Two new graduates are running a business to prevent calligraphy from becoming a dead art. In September, friends Wen Hui and Lei Lei formed Calligraphy Salon, to spread traditional culture to foreigners and the younger Chinese generation.

The three-year-old International Festival Children’s Choir (IFCC) is seeking new members: boys and girls between ages 7 and 12. The choir, under the artisti direction of Hannah Quinn, meets from September to December and January to May, with a concert at the end of each term.
